Hi Dan,
The chances are that because the manifest that tells the OS to use the
theme for the styling is part of the smpwin32.exe and smprun32.exe, that
when run from the IDE you are not seeing the controls using the correct
theme. One solution to that might be to add the manifest file to the
IDE, I will have a look at that and see if it is possible.
